I worked with MFA student director Amy Sole to develop a concept for Brett Dean’s Bliss where protagonist Harry Joy didn’t wake up in Hell as he claims, but is the last to ‘wake up’ in a 2021 world which has outgrown his privileged mindset. Design centred around idea of the real world always existing on the outside of Harry Joy’s perfect space before he is finally confronted with it.
